So it's not called the Sony PSP 2, and that's probably the biggest reveal in a rumor started by 1UP earlier today about Sony's next portable powerhouse.

We’ve heard some rumors about an upcoming PSP refresh in the past — ok, a whole lot of rumors — but new information is casting doubt upon the details of previous information. 1UP is reporting that the new PSP will be christened the PSP Go! and will finally do away with that awful UMD system while taking on a slider form. In place of UMDs, it is said the PSP Go! will come in 8GB and 16GB models meaning a green light for game downloads. As for games, Sony is reportedly planning to have around 10

A new PSP may well be on the horizon , but it looks like the knock-off business is still going strong with the classic model, and it's kicked out one of its most faithful / blatant homages to date with this new so-called PXP-900. If you're a fan of the PSP look and form factor but eschew the 3D graphics for NES/SNES and Gameboy-level sprites, the PSP-900 is $90 worth spending. The thing has a 4.3-inch screen, almost the same...

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, Mega Man 9. This list of high profile downloadable Capcom games is proof that the company is no stranger to digital distribution.
